Axial: Broken Lower Link Mount Fix

Post  cliff on Fri Mar 11, 2011 10:45 am

OK so I was going through my stuff and starting another build, only to find broken lower link mounts.

Being a tigharse I though how hard could it be to make something that wont break again, and here is the results.

This is how it started out:

Cost $1 from Bunnings.

With a few cuts with the 4" and a tack with the mig this is the finished product:

So you can braise this if you like, I just used the mig 'cause I cant find my braising gear after the move.

Here are a couple with them mounted, testing to follow.

Being a tigharse helps!!

Fitted them up and no issues with placement, or clearance. I will be heading out soon to test them out!
