axial wraith axles?
just a question for someone out there that may no. would the new axial wraith rock racer axles, more specific the diff size, give any more clearance over the scx-10 axles & diff clearence. would they work with the honcho chassis and chassis mounted servo?
it might be a bit more of a dramatic change that gettin bigger tyres. but i am stuck with the swampers i cant go past them.

Re: axial wraith axles?
Yeah you'd get more clearance, on ones side anyway, because of the offset pumpkin.
But they are alot wider than AX10 axles...Pretty sure they are the same width as the XR10
plus all the steering knuckles & geometry are different as well.
So you would end up with the tyres outside the guards on the honcho, and some fab work to get your steering to work properly again.
EDIT: Here's a Pic of wraith next to SCX10's

Re: axial wraith axles?
cheers troy, i thought that might be the case. for me its not worth the the small potential gain and off set pumpkin. maybe i need to get taller tyres.
got reading on some tyre size specs last night, the swampers are only 4.3 inch tall compared to iroks 4.7 and the mickys are 4.75, i new they were smaller but they seem to be small compared to alot of other tyres aswell. owell will just have to take some slightly different lines and be more aware of rocks and my diffs.
