Speeds now are 4.6k/hr on a 20 tooth and 5.3 k/hr on a 22 tooth on 2s 3300mah lipo. I have in my order coming a 22,24,26 tooth pinions but reckon she might get a bit warm bigger than the 22 as had a play at Az's today and motor was getting warm still could hold it to touch but getting warm, the diff were a bit warm also. All trial and plenty of error Twisted Evil

Cheers Ads for droppin of the gears too Cool

trial & error mick ,
what works for one set up might not work for another .
due to your particular truck so there is no way to set it up ,
besides try the different arrangements & yeah i know it sucks ive been there & done that affraid

Cheers guys I like the old school trucks so went with the theme. Cool This is the monster truck 1972 C10 longbed from Proline Smile The body is rather long and i already have a long wheelbase 310mm so will get it sitting right once i make lower arms etc as it is slightly short atm. Today i stuffed around with designs for front bar etc and decalled the body. I'll be starting bar work this week and see how i go hope to have some of it mounted next weekend!!!!! Bloody work keeps geting in the way Razz

Sounds like its not initialising..

Check you throttle trim is centered first off then turn it on.

if that doesnt work, try rebinding the radio gear first and see if that fixes it.

If not, go through the calibration step for the esc again.

If in doubt....RTFM!

Yeah happens now and then Mick...Castle gear is REALLY sensitive to radio input...

What i would do as well is plug in castle link and adjust the arming time out to 2-2.5s.
That means it'll take a bit longer to start up (finish beeping etc.) but it will find a better signal from the radio as its able to search for it a bit longer.
