Both those links are the same Ads.
Plus those links are for the stock replacements, and aint worth ####..

You want the machined hardened steel ones, which i'm pretty sure you said you have already.
These are stock ratio replacements
These are underdrive
I cant find Over drive ratios on ebay at the moment.
A few people on RCC have claimed that the OD gears are being discontinued, but the axial site still lists them as available. Go figure.

You want to run a lower ratio in the rear, the idea is the fronts are spinning faster so it pulls the nose around in a tighter turn. It also reduces torque twist a bit and climbs are a easier due to the front pulling you up rather than the rear pushing.
So either front stock(38/13), underdrive rear (43/13),
overdrive front (36/14), stock rear (38/13)
Or for the extreme OD front, UD rear.
Again some folks on RCC claim that running OD & UD binds up the drive train pretty bad, other say they run it no worries at all. Safer option that i know works from personal experience is one or the other paired with a stock ratio.

These are the actual ratios for the different gear sets so you can see the stagger more easily.
Stock(38/13)- 2.923:1
Overdrive(36/14)- 2.571:1
Underdrive(43/13)- 3.307:1

Hope it helps you out man..plus the others wanting to do it as well. pirat

my diffs are currently the underdrive rear ratio (43/13) im fairly sure. So i need to go stock front ratio (38/13), sorted. cheers again for sharing your endless guruness cheers

No worries mate, happy to help...
They should have the ratio laser etched into the crown wheel, so if you're in doubt just pull the center & check the ratio.

Noice work Ads.....thats why i said that the ratios are laser etched into the crown wheel so you would check...

To answer your question, yes you need a lower (43/13) gear set for the rear.
