It can be done, but you're better off for your sanity just using a castle link.

What sidewinder have you got?

If its an original one (not a SV2/SCT), i'm pretty sure they wont recognise the field link.

Yeha i think they are based off the old sidewinders, but i could be wrong...

Either way you're going to find out real quick if the field link works with them or not.

On a side note, dont use the field link as a programming card. You're better off using it to into you computer. That way you get full adaptability, not just half arsed.

Sooooo true (not doubting Troy Razz )
Once i figured how to download to computer ( Read computer dumb scratch ) It was so much easier to set up as Troy describes plus the field link only does part of the programme where as using it through the computer there is alot more fine tuning able to be done. I don't know half the things yet so its fun to test and set to how you drive etc. my current set up is the waterproof sidewinder with the 3000kv scorpion and i couldnt be more happier with it, Also thanks to Troy for suggesting the combo Cool
