Sorry for the late reply. I've re-joined the land of the employed.

You're right something doesn't sound right. Either the battery isn't fully charged (check it with a multi-meter, it should read around 8.4v straight off the charger), the lipo cut off it set super high (if it's the new AE-2 escs you can use castle link to adjust the settings) or something much deeper, but i;m not really sure what. scratch

The stock motor and gearing isn't the greatest for huge run time, but i think that 15-20mins should be the minimum run time you would be getting not the maximum.

If everything is fine with the battery and lipo cut, you'll have to start slowing the rig down (smaller pinion, bigger spur, higher turn motor etc.) that'll pick up the efficiency and run time.

Could also possibly be some binding in the driveline somewhere (ie something tightened too much)?

Cheers Jarrod

Yeah good point Jarrod, you could be right.

Jay, pull the motor away from the spur and see how free the truck rolls. It should be pretty free.
If not then what ever is binding might be the cause of the short run times.
