Troy,

I have a Castle Creations 9 turn motor with ESC in a 2WD buggy, can it be transplanted into my honcho, and if so what needs to be doen to strengthen the rig to take it.... I'm just curious as to whether its possible

anything is possible Jay Smile

one of the guys up here has a 3.5t in a tamyia cr01, it crawls like #### (but does enough for him to have fun) but is hell funny flying down the beach getting air on every little bump and wicked dough nuts in the sand.

I did nothing to strengthen mine other than what was done already (so pretty much just tail shafts). It eventually took out the spur gear that was about it if i remember right.
It is an absolute bag of #### to drive, but jeezus is went hard in a straight line.

It's a usless set up for anything other than going fast (and it doesn't do that good of a job doing that compared to some stuff). Because of the design of the motor/esc (sensor-less brushless) it will stutter, cog and have a general hissy fit when you try and go slow, not something you want when you occasionally need to drive a technical section. There is no real way to tune it out of that set-up either.
