Winch comp?

Post  Ads on Fri Nov 12, 2010 6:35 am

G'day all,

I am just fishing for interest in a trial winch comp run(can make teams event if people wanna play but have no wnches) just a couple of stages set up, as part of a social run, just to get an idea of what works and what doesn't and how to go about it all really.

At this stage i'd probably look to run it at whites hill, we found a nice little wash out creek section that looked pretty good. Also it is close by for me, that way I could head over late sat arvo mark out courses and make sure it's all pretty well sorted for us all on the sundy morning.

Not sure on when/if this will happen exactly, see how we go for interest on here first. I will probably keep it local to the garage at the moment til I'm more confidant in running the show haha.

Basic rules are currently being sorted out & will post it up for your opnionsand ideas.

Any ideas, feedback or offers of help in any way much appreciated and shoot the through.

Cheers ads.

Broadwater Park should be quite cool as well. Although whites hill might lend itself to being able to carve out scale tracks without anyone caring.

I think he meant it's queensland, it gets bloody muggy everywhere in summer lol.

The heat will be present and an issue from now til early next yr. no matter where it it held, I am thinking of running it the arvo now. Satdy or sundywhat ever suits, so that we have the best chance of the arvo breeze to come through and the day will only get cooler. Does that sound any better to people?
