update time the motor was smokin durin the last outing at underwood damn dirty mud,
looked at it last night she still runs but stalls out upon load so cactus or what ?
the diffs are sounding a little bit siezed internally so time to strip the rig
so if i'm keen enough shock towers will be gettin replaced with b/line aswell as a few other bits.
which means body mounting alterations are necessary.
suspension set up change will also be in order to rectify its layin around habits Laughing
i've also got a few other plans in the works but not sure about wether or not to go down that path geek

after seeing the pics i realised how crap the front bar looked
so last night i removed all the barwork on top of it except the centre hoop
i also removed the barwork from the rear arches starting to take some shape now

Marked them out ready to cut tomorrow. Woulda done it earlier but had neck issues over the last 3 days Sad I got some off cuts of steel and stainless etc from work to play with as well. Also added 15mm bump stops (small stainless tube inside shock) to the front of the crawler and has made a good change as it doesn't bind on the shocks etc when turning now. unsure still weather its worth turning the Losi into a scaler or keep it as a crawler and get a cr01 or something down that line for scaler since nothing is really scale on the Lnc.......thoughts??????

i wouldnt buy a cco1 or a cro1......
if i was going to buy one it would be an scx10 its as scale as they get str8 outta the box !!!

this one is the rtr just need to add batt , but has plastic links & ordinary electrics
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAWKR&P=ML

this one is the kit version which means shes like a model & needs building , also comes with the upgraded links , alloy not plastic...
but no electrics "motor , esc , servo , tx or rx"
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXYVD5&P=ML

this one is a different rtr...

As speaking from experiance...comp crawler conversion, It is a big job but well worth it seeing how it drives and performs. The biggest pain was shortening the wheel base to the standared length of a 1/10th shell/axial scx10 size. The only major expence was $100 for the Axial chassis kit. I do have a full build on the crawl pit if you want some pointers. Its just a thought' it also depends on how much you do crawling compared to scaleing, Is the Losi just going to sit around for the rest of its shelf life. Thats why (and money) my losi turned into a scale as i could'nt justifythat sort of money sitting on a shelf.
Over all i did enjoy building the losi/axial Scaler, as i do with all my builds.
Hope this helps micks.

i've only got the mounts to go for the bull bar & the barwork ,
only needs scrub bars
& the other section to attach the rear of the slider to the tray you know what i said the other day...

so you could get her by 2moro bounce
which means you can do the steel wool clean up to prep her if ya want ?
