Social run at Redbank Plains quarry ...Now 13/11

Anybody keen for a social run at the Redbank Plains quarry this sunday?

Thinking early-ish start (about 9-10) to beat some of the heat. Make sure you bring a hat and sunscreen, this place has no shade.
If you have a fourby, bring it as you can drive into the quarry and park, rather that leaving it outside.

I can't be there mate as I'm still liviing it up in Perth, take heaps of photos to see whether its a good area for a future comp?

All good mate...Its been discussed about using it for comps and its very possible. It's a different kind of terrain to Cornubia but it would work.

I will ask but just got back from coffs so might be to soon for us will let you know would love to come but have to keep the wife happy out of the bedroom aswell.

Yeah i did think after posting it that it was a bit close to the interstates for some people.

If there isn't enough interest i'll push it back a week or two (so the 6/11 or 13/11).

I came 10 th out of 26 that put score cards in was in 3rd after Saturday's courses but had some speedy problems on sunday that hurt my points but I was up there mixing it with some of the best in the land who probably get to drive a bit more than I can get out and blacklion came 15th not a bad ergot for the amount of time he has had the honcho. Maybe next year we can get a few more guys from here to make the trip down it was a blast.

yea we did have a ball down south, the new date looks good for me so far troy, this weekend is out, I have 4 weeks worth of yard and house work to catch up on....

I haven't been to the quarry or redbank in a while, I'm actually kind of bored with dry land and found driving through the water/mud a bit more interesting.

Troy you know I would be there with bells on if I could but I have a stupid birthday party on at my house for my brother in law who lives in Sydney so we have a lot of work to do around home plus bens car is not fixed yet and that is the only way I could come but I am trying to get all of it done so I can but we will have to wait and see I guess.

Sorry I will be out as I will be in NZ till the 15th. Will def try to make the next one as the 40 is getting sick of the shelf it is sitting on at the moment.
