WTB: 1.9 Rims and Tyres

Looking for a set of Flat Irons or similar, rims are optional really.

Happy to pick up from within Brisbane.

hey mate, i should have a spare set of flat irons coming up, these will be brand new with foams either a set of 4 or 5 depending on what u want, no rims though at this stage sorry. i am just waiting for some shipping to land hopefully by the end of this week if not early the following week. how soon were you wanting them? let us no how you get on.

Not in a massive hurry but after the run through Daisy Hill I gave her today, better tyres are definately needed.

I can pick them up after work sometime, shoot me a pm when you are ready to offload.

Stock Highlift rubber... they're ok to a point, and then you need to climb something lol

Thanks Rich, that does help... I've been watching those rims for a few days now and will grab a set next payday.

They look like you could run weighted balls in the centers yeah?

Maybe, but I run strips of lead around my rims. Just bought a sheet of it from Bunnings measured cut it with a stanley knife and wrapped it around the rim, making a flush join on each rotation and tape it down. All up my rims are around 320g each, and it works very well.

They should stay in the out box until the reciever opens the PM...then you can tell they have recieved it.

Sorry buddy, I'm out for Sunday. Still need some beadlocks and shooter shackles or extensions now that it runs bigger tyres.

It fouls on the bumper and sidesteps at full lock.

Was going to four link it but I want to see how much flex I can get out of a leaf setup first.

Just for your info my alloy's arrived today and they look awesome. As soon as my tyres turn up I'll fit them up and post some pics for you. Excellent value for money.

I saw a new white hilux on the way home today that had a tube front bar instead of the guady plastic one. Lokked hawt.

go the shooter shackles they are mint. should get more flex with the leafs and that set up
