fri 7 pm is the cut off to compete if ya names not down by then your a spectator instead

normally rock up on the day but being a team event the #'s matter

also update on the recovery side
hook ya straps up before the race begins
because if you move your vehicle while on the course it is a H O G penalty 45 sec
if you advance youre vehicle using anypart of ya body its a 3min penalty aswell
ie : cant get thru a section after a descent attempt


there is only 2 bonus lines 1st is winch truck only
if you can drive it 1min off the end time will be deducted

2nd is the final hill
if all trucks exit thru the winch hill 1min per vehicle will be deducted
but if all trucks do not make it there is no bonus

time stops when last car crosses the line

if there is a breakdown the time & position of the car furthest back will be noted
& the time will restart & the start point will be the furthest point back in the course .

there will be 3 stages.

I'm pumped, getting worried about breaking something as my parts inventory is non existent, until i work out what i'll need for next time, hopefully car will last the day seen as though i have a long run home with my tail between my legs.

I,m running pretty much the same as you ( Pretty much stock Honcho on Pro line flat irons )
the only time i break things is when i,m with Gravedigger , mick and Azwa ( there a bad influence )
If you stay away from them you should be fine

I have a couple of straps, a winch block and a anchor but no shackles.

Talking to cliff at the last comp apparently anaconda sells realy small shackles but there is no store up here. if someone is going there this week sometime can you grab a couple?

the quarry is renound for trashing rigs not just chuck, mick and Az

yea i got some straps, ground anchor and snatch block, no shackles either just gotta find all of it and get it stuck to the truck.

Well sorry guys but it looks like I'm out as my car has #### itself. Will know if I can make by friday but is not looking good as the alternator blew up literally and took the battery, computer and a lot of wiring as well. Was quite lucky a fire didn't start.

Yeah you can get shackles are Anaconda, but also check fishing & tackle shops..They usually have small stainless shackles for making up big jigs, and some Hobby shops will have ones that the model yacht blokes use (thats what my shackles are)

I've got a snatch strap, snatch block, ground anchor, and a fawk load of winch line...all set

I'll have a look around today and grab some if I find any

Troy i have checked the local tackle shops up here, no good you would have to look at shops that do game fishing gear or cater for comercial fishos.

Chuck if you can find some grab me a few i will fix ya up on sunday mate.
